Position: Vault Cashier

Department: Cage

Reports to: Cage Supervisor

Starting Rate: $16.50 Tips

Summary: Responsible for furnishing Cage cashiers and all other departments with money in exchange for chips, coin or currency and maintain and balance the Main Vault. Will act as Supervisor as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities: Specific areas of responsibility included, but not limited to:

• Assist various departments in replenishing currency, chips and coins. Reconciles the Main Bank.
• Verify all money drops and prepare deposit.
• Responsible for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and paperwork.
• Operate a variety of Cage equipment.
• Maintain adequate supplies necessary to effectively perform the duties of the job.
• Ability to work any Cage window as needed.
• Responsible for the replenishing of all Cage cashier drawers.
• Provide courteous service and be cordial to all Team Members and Guests.
• Assists Supervisor, as needed.
• Maintain a consistent, regular attendance record.
• Acts as Supervisor in the absence of the Cage Supervisor.

Mandatory Requirements

• Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Able to obtain a valid gaming license.
• Ability to pass a Vault Cashier math test.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• Excellent leadership skills, supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be able to push, pull, bend and squat.
• Must be able to stand 100% of the shift.
• Must be able to lift forty-five (45) pounds at a time.
• Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
• Must have at least three (3) months recent experience as a Casino Cage Cashier.
• Must have large-sum money handling experience and the ability to operate a 10-Key.
• Prefer High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Must attend State, Federal, Tribal, Casino and Department mandatory trainings and pass any applicable testing.
